This research explored the connectivity between interpretations of climate change and environmental activism, in a bid to aid the global challenge of reducing greenhouse gas emissions, starting at a local scale.
A small database was created to invite 672 people to take part in a four-month project, the Footsteps to Copenhagen Project (FTCP), in Truro, Cornwall, in a bid to mobilise people to support Ministers attending the United Nations Earth Summit in Copenhagen December, 2009.
The work enabled in excess of 4488 carbon cutting actions, which still remain on the website to be used today. Why not open the link Footsteps – Top Ten Pledges – a power point slide and see the poster with the results or read the report or watch a film made by Ted Chapman of one of the events that took place across Cornwall
Why not get cracking today – cutting carbon like this has been enjoyed by many – some of us even gained a kiss and a hug in the process (buying from local stores)!? http://www.trurocathedral.org.uk/hot-topics/top-ten.php
