My favourite top!

My favourite top!

What?! This is a climate blog?

Tamsin Spargo has done a great job with the Green Church Awards and reached Gold a couple of years ago. One of the criteria led to an event where I bought my favourite TOP! She wrote this brilliant article in the local newsletter recently and it inspired me to get up and do more, so I hope it inspires you too.

If you want to meet Tamsin, or have a chat with your Diocesan Environment Officer (Truro Diocese), this event is open to all, not just church folk, then come along to her next event (one of the Green Church Awards criteria), Winter Warmer Clothes Swap Soirée at St Andrew’s, Redruth 7-9pm  November 16th

Tamsin writes: Fashion fun that doesn’t cost the earth in St Andrew’s Redruth crypt (opposite the library). Bring up to three items of adult clothing (in good condition please) to swap for a £2 donation each to our Green Church Kernow re-wilding project. We’ll have drinks and nibbles, a chance to meet friends and make new ones, and a raffle for pamper prizes! Doors open at 7 pm and you can come along any time before 9 pm. You just give your items to someone wearing a green ribbon, collect a button per item then browse and pay £2 plus a button for anything you find. 😀
