Leaf Litter Project

Really pleased to get working hard again in the roads for some raw climate change risk management. Through the Defra Pathfinder Fund, Cornwall Community Flood Forum have backed a project by Climate Vision to help prevent flooding by removing leaves from drains. It’s not rocket science, but it is exciting when the workers walk away with a ticket that shows they have been trained to work safely in the road, knowledge of how to compost the leaves and throughout the project learn about flood prevention and climate change. Really interesting opinions and stories are emerging. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-cornwall-24800779
